You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward, vulnerable and uncomfortable when you begin your journey of change.

The only thing that makes life possible is permanent, intolerable change; not knowing what comes next!

We set ourselves up for great disappointment when we cling, hoping that things will never change.

We grow when we realise we are no longer able to control all the conditions of our lives and are therefore challenged to change ourselves.

Progress is impossible without change and thus those who struggle with change, will struggle with progress.

When we release our clinging to what used to be and our craving for what we think should be, we are free to embrace this moment and what we need to change.

Mature hope embraces the truth that no matter what we do or don’t do, things will change. Change is constant and inevitable, a feature of being.

If we can understand the impermanence of everything in life, we can then begin to embrace the absolute fact that we do not have to struggle with Change, because we are Change.

The curious paradox is that when we accept ourselves just as we are, then we can change.

“Later” creates the comfortable allusion of a safe distance. But constant change and impermanence are not later. They are right now. Change is the norm.
